Chachapoyas (pt. 2)

Quality week this week. We had zone conference. That was super fun. We had 8 elders in our apartment for a few days so it was a celebration. The focus of the conference was the temple🔥 I enjoyed. Felt like I gave a decent sermon. President took me to lunch for my birthday  and I got blueberry cheescake and a whole grilled chicken. And fries. And rice of course. Turns out it was a meal for 4 people. I threw that mess down in about 15 minutes 😹 (im a munch)

We went on a cool hike as a zone. Pretty legendary. The zone is awesome. Shoutout elder nichols (Elder nichols is my old comp thats now in the same zone again. I love elder nichols) 

We also had the baptism of Hermano Cesar this week. He is super cool guy that we've been teaching for a minute. He is the first baptism I have seen come from straight door knocking without a reference or anything. The spirit prompted me and elder treft (shoutout elder treft) to knock his door about 7 weeks ago while on an exchange. His baptism gives hope to the often hopeless grind of knocking doors. He already has 4 names ready to take to the temple for baptisms. 

It rained super hard this week and my socks got wet a few times. I dont like when my socks get wet.

As I write this we are in Chachapoyas again. About to go hike to the waterfal "Gocta" give it a search on the google. Should be pretty legendary I suppose. 

This past month I have really seen my testimony grow. I've always had good feelings about the church, but I can feel myself really becoming converted lately. Its a cool feeling.

 Yo whats good guys. 

3 days this week were actually super fun (I was on an exchange for three days) with Elder Nichols my old comp from Motupe. That guy is an absolute legend. Somehow he's serving here in another area in Jaen, idk how we got so lucky on that one. He's saving me. We walked out to a little town in the jungle to try to find a family that had contacted us. Had hopes of baptizing the whole town, becoming local legends and stunning native indians with priesthood power. None of that came to pass but it was pretty and we found some peruvian snipers. Pretty rad. 

Just so you guys are aware, my comp reads and listens to everything you guys send me. He has realized that you guys often adress me as names such as "bro" and "cpohl". He was wondering if you guys could maybe respect the title of Elder and avoid these inapropriate names. Thanks guys 😊

Zone conference is tomorow. Gonna spit some bars (probably). Gonna talk about temples and kobe bryant (jobs not finished).

Whats up guys. Nother week. Had transfers this week. My comp is from Seattle washington (shoutout will) I dont think it is possible that we could be any different. I know the Lord loves me and knows whats best for me. I dont really have the desire to write anything today but it was a good week. It was my birthday (I didnt tell a soul, It was marvelous) I got 2 pints of icecream and celebrated to end the day. My comp probably thought it was weird haha. Thanks to everyone who reached out. Preciate you 

Had two baptisms this week. Pretty cool. Miracles. It is always a privelage to take part in that ordinance. We had it on the very last day of the transfer. After all elder matias and I went through that baptism and everything I learned about myself made that transfer worth it. 

And so another one begins. Pray for me. The mission isn't supposed to be easy I suppose
